A wonderful group of guests

We recently had the pleasure to host a group of art lovers from France, people who know and love Italy, Vicenza, the Veneto and indeed Antonio Fogazzaro. In fact they brought to the villa copies of "Piccolo Mondo Antico" in French, to donate to their friends in the group!

And, (what a great idea!) they projected the film of the opera "Don Giovanni", by Joseph Losey, on a screen erected on our front terrace, in view of the Valletta del Silenzio: what a fabulous location for this screening: the film was shot entirely on locations around Vicenza, Venice and surrounding areas, and Joseph Losey stayed at Villa San Bastiano Fogazzaro during the filming. The quality of our guests suits the heritage and quality of the villa perfectly.

Discover Vicenza!
